Midea Error Code


Midea air conditioner error codes

The tables below contain lists of error codes for several models of the Midea air conditioners. For each error code, there is a short explanation of the type of the malfunction. There are separate tables for the following series of Midea ACs: R series, 9V, 9A, and the Cassette/Ceiling&Floor series. If you’re looking for information on AC Outdoor Units, you will also nd it below.

FAULT CODE = First power on, if no address
INDICATING MEANING = The timing and operating lamps will be ashed or display FE at the
same time

FAULT CODE = M_Home not matching fault
INDICATING MEANING = 4 Lamps will be ashed or display HO at the same time

FAULT CODE = Mode conict fault
INDICATING MEANING = The defrosting lamp will be ashed or display EO

FAULT CODE = Indoor and outdoor units communication fault
INDICATING MEANING = The timing lamp will be ashed or display E1

FAULT CODE = Indoor unit temperature sensor (T1) fault
INDICATING MEANING = The operating lamp will be ashed or display E2

FAULT CODE = Swinging motor fault
INDICATING MEANING = Display E8

FAULT CODE = Temperature sensor (T2) fault
INDICATING MEANING = The operating lamp will be ashed or display E3

FAULT CODE = Temperature sensor (T2B) fault
INDICATING MEANING = The operating lamp will be ashed or display E4

FAULT CODE = EEPROM fault
INDICATING MEANING = The defrosting lamp will be ashed slowly or display E7

FAULT CODE = Outdoor unit fault
INDICATING MEANING = The alarm lamp will be ashed slowly or display Ed

FAULT CODE = Water level alarm fault
