Cause = Broken heat exchanger thermistor wire, Connector poor connection
Conditions of flashing = When heat exchanger thermistor temperature of –20 °C or under continued for more than 3   seconds   while   operation   is   stopped. (This is not displayed during operation.) 

Indoor unit indicator
RUN lamp = 2 time flash
TIMER lamp =  Comes on
Outdoor unit indicator (LED5) = Stays off 
Description of trouble = Room temperature thermistor error
Cause = Broken room temperature thermistor wire, Connector poor connection
Conditions of flashing = When room temperature thermistor temperature of –20 °C or under continued for more than 3   seconds while operation is stopped. (This is not displayed during operation.) 

Indoor unit indicator
RUN lamp = 5 time flash
TIMER lamp =  Comes on
Outdoor unit indicator (LED5) = Stays off 
Description of trouble = Drain abnormality (1) 
Cause = Drain at reverse gradient, Float switch defective 
Conditions of flashing = Float switch motion 

Indoor unit indicator
RUN lamp = 6 time flash
TIMER lamp =  Comes on
Outdoor unit indicator (LED5) = Stays off 
Description of trouble = Indoor fan motor error (2)
Cause = Defective fan motor, Connector poor connection 
Conditions of flashing = When air conditioner is operating and indoor fan motor is turned ON, indoor fan motor speed of 400  rpm or under continued for more  than 30 seconds.  (Air   conditioner stops.)

TIMER lamp =  1 time flash
Outdoor unit indicator (LED5) = Stays off 
Description of trouble = Outdoor temperature thermistor error
Cause = Broken outdoor thermistor wire, Poor connector connection
Conditions of flashing = When outdoor temperature sensor temperature of –40 °C or under continued for more than 3 seconds   while opeation is stopped. (This is not displayed during operation.)

RUN lamp = Keeps flashing
TIMER lamp = 2 time flash
Outdoor unit indicator (LED5) = Stays off
Description of trouble = Outdoor heat exchanger gas pipe thermistor error
Cause = Broken heat exchanger gas pipe termistor wire, Poor connector connection 
Conditions of flashing = When heat exchanger entrance thermistor  temperature of  –50 °C or under continued for more than   3 seconds while operation is stopped. (This is not displayed during operation.)

Indoor unit indicator
RUN lamp = Comes on 
TIMER lamp = 1 time flash
Outdoor unit indicator (LED5) = 1 time flash
Description of trouble = Current cut
Cause = Compressor locking, Open phase on compressor output, Short circuit on power transformer
Conditions of flashing = When converter output current which exceeds setting value is detected. (Compressor stops.)

Indoor unit indicator
RUN lamp = Comes on
TIMER lamp = 2 time flash
Outdoor unit indicator (LED5) = 2 time flash
Description of trouble = Trouble of outdoor unit
Cause = Broken power transformer, Broken compressor wire, Compressor blockage
Conditions of flashing = When the input current of 1 A or less is detected for 30 continuous seconds or more. (Compressor stops.) 

Indoor unit indicator
RUN lamp = Comes on
TIMER lamp = 2 time flash
Outdoor unit indicator (LED5) = On for 4 seconds and off for 4 seconds
Description of trouble = Discharge pipe thermistor error
Cause = Broken discharge pipe thermistor wire, Connector poor connection 
Conditions of flashing = When the discharge pipe thermistor temperature measures an interrupted signal (less than 7 °C) of 10 seconds or more.

Indoor unit indicator
RUN lamp = Comes on
TIMER lamp = 3 time flash
Outdoor unit indicator (LED5) = 3 time flash
Description of trouble = Over current
Cause = Overload operation, Overcharge 
Conditions of flashing = When the input current value exceeds the set value. (Compressor stops)

Indoor unit indicator
RUN lamp = Comes on 
TIMER lamp = 4 time flash
Outdoor unit indicator (LED5) = 4 time flash
Description of trouble = Over heat of  power transistor
Cause = Cooling problem
Conditions of flashing =When power transistor temperature exceeds setting value. (Compressor Stops.) 

Indoor unit indicator
RUN lamp = Comes on
TIMER lamp = 5 time flash
Outdoor unit indicator (LED5) = 5 time flash
Description of trouble = Over heat of Compressor
Cause = Gas shortage , Defective discharge pipe thermistor
Conditions of flashing = When discharge pipe thermistor value exceeds setting value. (Compressor Stops.) 

Indoor unit indicator
RUN lamp = Comes on 
TIMER lamp = 6 time flash
Outdoor unit indicator (LED5) = 6 time flash (3)
Description of trouble = Error of signal transmission
Cause = Defective power supply , Broken signal wire, Defective indoor/outdoor unit circuit boads 
Conditions of flashing =  If serial signal cannot be sent or received for 1 minute and 55 seconds continuously.

Notes 
(1) Ceiling recessed type only
(2) Wall mounted type only 
(3) LED 5 will go out when even one unit is operating properly or there is an abnormality with the outdoor unit power supply.  It will also go out during normal operation.
